This movie has quite a few surprises. Take the classic opportunity that temporal travel offers a plot line, weave storylines in on themselves and lace it with gender-bending role manipulation and you have a very satisfying thriller.

I don't believe that I have seen an Ethan Hawke movie that I didn’t like. This is just another one. Time travel stories are always facinating to me and I watch everyone I can. This breaks the mold for these type stories with twists and turns that I have never seen before and the ending makes you sit there wondering about the possibilities that it presents.

Unique and some what perverted plot . Needed more special effects.
  • Okay.... just okay... slow at first, then rushes to predictable end

slow at first, then rushes to predictable end. One giant plot hole... why? Why does Robertson start the whole thing. What's he get out of it? Was it just an experiment to learn "a lot of things." Time-travel paradox is obvious but ignored. the not so subtle joke about the chicken or the egg is a bit on the nose, too.
  • Predictable

This movie will stay with you long after you have finished watching it. The story is brilliant. This is a movie you will not regret having in your library as you will discover new things with each viewing. One of my favorites. Possibly Ethan Hawke's best.
