The final installment of Stieg Larsson's "Millennium” trilogy finds Lisbeth Salander fighting for her life in more ways than one. In an intensive care unit and charged with three murders, she will have to not only prove her innocence, but also identify and denounce the same corrupt government institutions that nearly destroyed her life. Once upon a time, she was a victim. Now Salander is fighting back.

  • Absolutely wonderful!

Absolutely wonderful! It is nice to see a non-American/Hollywood movie for a change. It was still great without all the explosions, high technology and over-doing of 95% of American movies. The scenery was wonderful. I have never been to Sweden or Stockholm, and I doubt I will ever make it there, but I got a chance to see some of the place I loved the subtitles. It made me watch the movie, instead of being in the room while the movie played. I also was able to watch the characters and read them before the text was on the screen. I have watched the first two movies, and loved them. I am sure the American versions will be fine, but the originals are great. Admittedly, I have not read the books. I think I will now after seeing the movies.
  • Fabulous courtroom biker movie.

Get the trilogy. It's better than this - and this is terrific. It's a great story - but start at the beginning.
  • Great Ending

Great final chapter to an excellent trilogy. Haven't read the books but love all three of the Swedish versions of these movies. So far not as impressed with the American version.

  • Swedish version is more faithful

Swedish actors are very good, so are the choreographer and director, who rival if not better than most American thrillers'. Lisbeth Salander's actress is very good.
  • US version

to the posters who think the US versions are trying to be better than the originals, you could not be further from correct. Fincher is attempting these because the books are so amazing, these originals are so amazing, that he thinks the US deserves its English language version. You cannot outdo perfection. And trust, David Fincher knows that. He is just trying to make his best version, for people who do not like to read subtitles. I say don't mess with it. Well, I SAID don't mess with it. But Daniel Craig, and Rooney Mara are incredible in the US version of DT. This final chapter of the trilogy was outstanding. I've watched them all 4 times each, and cannot get enough. Some movies are just a means to telling a story. Just let the story be told. Sit back, and enjoy the violence. Don't have to critique every little detail. Almost every post here that says there is something wrong with the movie, later says they still loved it. just say ya love it. MOST DEF WORTH IT! But not if you don't watch the first two.
  • Why did they remake it in 2011??

I had not read the books before watching all three movie, but all I can say is WOW. Unbelievable acting, writing, and directing. After watching the first one, I sat down and watched the other two straight through - THEY ARE ALL THAT GOOD!! Too bad they have remade should have hit the theaters in the States as is, subtitles and all!
  • great film but...

what really made me upset about the last two films of this trillogy is they never explained why she had that dragon tattoo on her back. im sure they explainit in the book but it would have been nice to hear why on the big screen. good movie but could have been so much better.
  • mediocre movie

Good movie but i personally did not like the ending and the main character was in the hospital the whole time so there is no way she could be kicking the hornet's nest.
