A very artistic and strange movie, "O Brother" was the first Coen movie I ever watched. It was hilarious! Great story, great acting... amazing cinematography! Had some interesting parts, and has given me the blessing of the Soggy Bottom Boys and one my favorite movie quotes: "We thought you was a toad!" Very funny, definetly a must-watch for any Coen Brothers fan.

Between the music, acting, story telling, and cinematography; you'd be hard-pressed to find many films with a better combination of these elements. It'll make you laugh, it'll jerk your heart, it'll put you on the edge of your seat at times. Definitely a 5 out of 5 and I would never think any less.

Outstanding performances (in spite of my low opinion of Clooney as a person); Clooney NAILED this role! Goodman: SOLID performance as usual. Impeccable soundtrack. Settings: superb. Definately in my top 10 of all times! The fact that the story was adapted from Homer's Odyssey is the clincher. "Oh, George! Not the livestock!" So, let your "foldin' money come unstowed" and get this if you haven't already!

This movie was so good. Bought the soundtrack the same day. Everyone did amazing work on this film. I could feel the struggle these people were living through in that era with the poverty. It was a happy and sad film at the same time.

George Clooney never stops being George Clooney. It's acting at its worst.
