Description

From director Gaspar Noé (Irreversible; Enter the Void; Love) comes a hypnotic, hallucinatory, and ultimately hair-raising depiction of a party that descends into delirium over the course of one wintry night. In Climax, a troupe of young dancers gathers in a remote and empty school building to rehearse. Following an unforgettable opening performance lit by virtuoso cinematographer Benoît Debie (Spring Breakers; Enter the Void) and shot by Noé himself, the troupe begins an all-night celebration that turns nightmarish as the dancers discover they've been pounding cups of sangria laced with potent LSD. Tracking their journey from jubilation to chaos and full-fledged anarchy, Noé observes crushes, rivalries, and violence amid a collective psychedelic meltdown. Starring Sofia Boutella (Atomic Blonde) and a cast of professional dancers, Climax is Noé's most brazen and visionary statement yet.

Bravo Monsieur Gaspar Noè 🎥 Climax is a magnificent film where you can feel that you can fly and touch the sky with the rhythm of music but at the same time you can live the most dangerous nightmare in the hell of drugs, unfortunately it is a sad and horrible reality in the world!! Remember that no one is perfect in this life ✔️ God Is With Us 🇫🇷

The pacing of this film was perfect. The lack of cuts was impressive, especially for a dance film. I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m floored, pun intended.
  • Just don’t.

I had been looking forward to this. Jesus, it was terrible. Just a bunch of drama queens on drugs. Which you can tell they’ve never done.
  • MUST WATCH!!!!!

I absolutely loved this film! It was so raw & fascinating! It is definitely one you have to prepare yourself for & has you sitting in front of the tv with your mouth wide open like “WHATS NEXT???” It was amazing!!! The angels, the music, the dancing, the actors... just everything was great in my opinion. I watched it again right after the first time to process it all over again! Lol def recommend!
  • Not only is the story about an acid trip but you should also take acid in order to enjoy it

Absolutely the worst movie I’ve seen in 40 years of watching movies. It drags on for exactly half its run time before you start to get to a plot. So basically this movie could have been half as long and twice as good as it was. So happy I rented for only 99 cents. If you’re curious I suggest you do same.

As in the movie, you have to be on acid to enjoy it and I don’t take acid. Totally not worth the $4 rental and 2 hours spent.
  • This is just bad

I have seen Gaspar's other films.......this is not good, terrible dialog, zero story, and I mean zero story. Nothing happens. Kept waiting for some kind of pay off (good or bad) just somthing, anythinng.....I am perplexed by the positive critic reviews. Hoping he can step it up on the next one

people running around losing their minds. if you want to see people scream for 2 hours and just be generally awful to each other, then sit down and waste 2 hours of your life.
