Lifelong friends Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal co-wrote and star in this timely and wildly entertaining story about the intersection of race and class set against the backdrop of a rapidly gentrifying Oakland.
Best film of the year, without a doubt.
Funny and so seriously sad
Very well written movie, don’t waste your money on garbage like a A Star is Born. People missed the boat on that. This movie deserves awards and recognition. It’s the sad reality of today and worth a watch. Someone commented it may change you. It definitely opens your eyes and heart.
Funny, poignant, Don’t miss this film
While only a 96 minute film there is more exceptional filmmaking in Blindspotting than in almost any blockbuster films with big budgets and A list actors.
NOT A COMEDY
By Can't find a non-taken nickname
This film is NOT A COMEDY. It's comedic how miscategorized it is. The film deals with very dark, disturbing issues. It's definitely NOT A COMEDY. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO A COMEDY. Do not believe for one second it's a comedy. I can't even give an adequate review of the film, because I was conned into thinking it was a comedy. NOT A COMEDY.
A lot of potential. Came up short for my taste.
Was mostly fun to watch.
This is a very solid, engaging movie. It tells a very real story in a fun way. It’s comedy and drama and reality all wrapped into one enjoyable film. I highly recommend it.
Very well done
If you want to be a cynic, this movie is for you, if you want to challenge your view point with the story and plight of these characters (for better or worse), this movie is for you. Well done.
another inane film glorifying idiots and cliches

Keep them stupid in America, that’s the game. The culture of the culture starved. Feed them mental grease of YoYoYo and another tattoo image.
Bad actors spewing L.C.D.s, to feed lambs of social networks and the generic mind-set.
