Drawing from over 100 hours of never-before-seen footage that has been tucked away in the National Geographic archives for over 50 years, award-winning director Brett Morgen tells the story of JANE, a woman whose chimpanzee research challenged the scientific consensus of her time and revolutionized our understanding of the natural world. Set to a rich orchestral score from composer Philip Glass.

  • Beautiful film *****

Wow everyone should see this film!!!!! The fotage is breathtaking and its a facinating story. What an amaizng human being. Truly inspirational. Only negative is the music is terrible. Its very loud and does not go at all with the film. Poor chioce. Dr Goodall has a very calm beuatful energy, the background music doesnt relate.

What a wonderful film! Hard to believe the footage was just sitting on a shelf for so long.
  • Incredible immersive journey

A young naive Jane filmed lovingly by her future husband to be. I saw it on the Nat Geo channel on demand.
  • Perfect Representation

I had the privilege of meeting Jane, and heard her speak. This film not only captures correcct information, but the essence of who she is as a person- the film captures Jane herself. Stunning imagery and commentary, completely inspiring and wholesome!
